We know that great ideas spark more GREAT ideas - We call it THE IDEA DOMINO effect. That is why we are spotlighting one of our favourite virtual event ideas from February. We are sharing our ideas to inspire some of your own for your next virtual event.
First, a bit of background…
Our client was on the hunt for an idea that would help them highlight their 2022 conference destination - HALIFAX. Our team of huntresses were tasked to find an entertainment piece to close out their 2021 virtual conference and create excitement for next year’s destination.
They had 3 key requirements:
The entertainment needed to embody a Canadian East Coast, sea shanty feel (We love a theme!)
The entertainment piece needed to be engaging and dynamic (um, heck yes!)
Length of performance had to be 30-minutes (Challenge accepted!)
With that, we had everything we needed to get working on this project. Led by Huntress, Samantha Mele, she worked with our favourite female duo on the East Coast of Canada. As Samantha worked through the mandate, she noticed that a pre-recorded video production would work better in lieu of a live stream. Additionally, having the pre-recorded video content allowed for more creative production and engagement ideas. What started off as a simple live stream performance, quickly blossomed into an intimate musical performance video that not only entertained guests with themed music, but actually took guests on a virtual tour of Halifax. The video showcased popular sights that created a buzz for anticipation when attendees visit in 2022.
