The Huntress Messenger Box has Launched!

We all know that 2020 was a crazy year and with many of our teams reduced in size, it limited our capacity to take on special projects. One of the projects we had to sacrifice were our annual client holiday gifts and to be honest with you, I felt SUPER guilty about it. Those gifts are a way for us to thank our clients for their support and business, and here we were with nothing to send and no time to figure it out. You may be thinking that we could have just sent a box of chocolates, but at The Idea Hunter, we can’t send just anything. If it is not creative and unique, it is not going out the door!

I wasn’t sure what to do until New Year’s Eve rolled around and a gift arrived at my door step. It was a NYE Party in box that one of our suppliers sent us and it caught me completely by surprise. This is when the light bulb went off and a new trend alert emerged. Why send gifts during a time of the year when people are busy, courier services are back logged, all the gift options are practically the same and you’re lucky if your gift doesn’t end up in a pile of supplier gifts in the corner? Why not choose a different time to celebrate your clients?

With this insight in mind, I looked at the calendar and the next available holiday was VALENTINE’S DAY! It was the perfect fit to express our appreciation, so we began putting our boxes together. Remember how fun it was in elementary school to give all your friends a Valentine’s Day card and treat? We took that idea and levelled it up, A LOT! We went with a heart printed face mask, bottle of Grey Goose vodka, cocktail syrup from Niagara on the Lake, and custom branded heart cookies. It is amazing to think that what started out as a lack of time and a missed holiday gift problem, turned into a new corporate gifting trend.
