What an amazing night! Thank you Canadian Special Events and all the sponsors for delivering an incredible Awards show for the Events industry last night. Congratulations again to all of the winners. This year’s gala was more than just a celebration; it was a vote of confidence for the future of our industry and an acknowledgement of our resilience over the past year.
If you were to caught up in all the excitement, and did not have a chance to stop by our video message booth in the lobby lounge, we have extended the booth for 1 more day! Put together a message to congratulate a winner or thank a colleague and make sure to share it on social media so they don’t miss it. Let’s keep the celebration going.
We also wanted to thank everyone who stopped by our Digital Caricature Lounge last night!
If you missed it, not to worry; We will fill you in on how it all worked. Guests joined our zoom room, where they were greeted by a Huntress and some light jazz music (because who doesn’t love some good jazz music at a cocktail reception). They then chose which template they wanted from the 3 options below - each one more fabulous than the next. Once they understood the process, we sent them into the breakout room to meet with our artist, Jason. Everyone was able to watch Jason digitally draw the pieces and we loved that people took the opportunity to network as they waited in our digital line up. The artwork was emailed to guests instantly, so they could share out their digital persona right away.
